2011 City Championships
Power Ratings

Power Ratings are a way to measure the success of a deck during its given format. They do not necessarily correlate with the best decks in the formats, but these power ratings will at the very least provide insight on what decks were performing well and which decks were popular. These ratings are based on all data compiled in the Tournament Data page. The only decks given a power rating were decks with a recorded City Championships win.

For each recorded finish, the amount of points added to the power rating increases based on the placement in the tournament. These point values correspond to the deck's placement in the tournament:

Win - 100

Runner-Up - 80

Top 4 - 50

For example, if a deck won 5 City Championships, came in second in 3, and achieved top 4 in 1, its power rating would be calculated as follows:

5(100)+3(80)+1(50) = 790

Please note that these ratings mean very little other than acting as a gauge for what was successful. The majority of people play retro formats to play the strongest decks, the most popular decks, and the most fun/creative/nostalgic decks, so these ratings are meant to act as a tool for guidance when it comes to a deck's strength and popularity.
